Meet the Founders
M.S CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY, St.Louis, MO)
My name is Viji Anand. I live by the motto that 'we are what we think!'. Ever since my childhood I have never let anything/anyone limit my success in any activity I undertook. This drive in me led to great achievements in sports, academics and performing arts. Through school and college years I continued my journey of learning and expanding my horizons into many different activities. I have been a lead singer in a professional music band, Chemical engineer by education and eventually found my passion in teaching kids. As a self taught artist I know the value of motivation and practice. Through Rainbow Math and iKidz, I want to imbue confidence in the next generation to pursue dreams and work hard towards making their dreams a reality.
I started teaching kids over two decades ago out of our apartment and I explored different avenues to make a change in children's lives. Eventually, I decided to start Rainbow Math to build an organization that is aligned with my mission of working with every individual child and bringing out his/her best in their endeavors. My experience with kids till date help me identify the customized approach to take with every kid and help them understand the lifetime impact of learning and working hard and smart, towards their goals in life.
I wish to build on what I have started and continue to keep going...
M.S ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY, St.Louis, MO)
My name is Sushil Anand. I have over 20 years experience in R&D, Technology and Global Organization Leadership. In my career, I have had broad exposure to various technology sectors. Being in the Silicon Valley, I have experienced the fast paced and entrepreneurial culture and initiatives first hand and have played a key role in many. The underlying principle that I have lived by and explored through various initiatives is the need for continuous learning and stretching beyond our comfort zones. With careful planning and execution any initiative can be properly managed and completed with high rate of success. There is a need for continuous rediscovery of ones self everyday, every hour.
With similar ideas in mind over a decade ago, I joined hands with my wife to start Rainbow Math and eventually iKidz learning center.
The core principles that I live with and strive to bring to children through these initiatives is to always be hungry for knowledge and learning. While humankind has evolved so much, there is always room for improvement in everything we do individually and collectively as a global community. Through iKidz, my mission is to prepare the upcoming generation with knowledge and confidence that they can achieve anything they put their mind to. We have just started and have great plans to build on the solid foundation in the upcoming years.
