Position: After-School Aide
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After-School Aide to join our team and support our after school programs. The After-School Aide will work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator to assist in the implementation of educational and recreational activities for students in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:

Assist with the supervision and engagement of students during afterschool activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Support the implementation of structured educational and enrichment activities, including homework assistance, arts and crafts, and games.

Assist in the preparation and organization of materials and resources for activities and projects.

Foster positive relationships with students, providing encouragement, guidance, and support as needed.

Assist with the maintenance of a clean and organized program space, including setup and cleanup of activity areas.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members to ensure a positive and collaborative program environment.

Adhere to program policies and procedures, including safety protocols and behavior management guidelines.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education, child development, or related field is a plus but not required.

Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or recreational setting a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a commitment to the safety and well-being of students.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from supervisory staff.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing program needs and dynamics.
This is a part-time position with afternoon/evening hours. The After-School Aide will report to the Program Coordinator and work closely with other program staff members to create a positive and enriching after school experience for students.
Pay rate: $18 per hour.

Position: Junior Math Tutor: K-12
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about math and eager to embark on a rewarding journey as Junior Math Tutors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, providing essential support and guidance to help them build a strong foundation in mathematics. Whether you're a recent graduate looking to gain valuable teaching experience or someone with a natural aptitude for math seeking to share your knowledge, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' academic development.
Responsibilities:

Assist students with homework assignments, practice problems, and test preparation in various math subjects.

Support lead tutors and classroom teachers in implementing instructional activities and educational interventions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field preferred).
